The Media Workshop worked in collaboration with the NSPCC to help pupils from Weston Park Junior School develop an anti-bullying policy and create a book that everyone in the school could refer to help stop bullying. We ran photography workshops in which children were asked to act out various bullying scenarios and to think up possible solutions. The photographs were then used to create comic book pages for the final book. We helped design and screen print t-shirts with anti-bullying slogans and worked with pupils to produce illustrations which accompanied the school’s definition of bullying. The book was launched at a special school assembly with all pupils and teachers being given their own copy.
