Black & White Darkroom
The Media Workshop has the only traditional chemical based public access darkroom in the region.
We have a large well equipped black & white darkroom with a seven enlarger communal printing area and separate processing area.
The Media Workshop regularly runs a number of darkroom courses for beginners and refreshers.

The darkroom is available at Open Access every Thursday 1pm-9pm school term only £2 (£1.50con) Membership required or Pay-as-you-go designed for people who only wish use darkroom occasionally waged £5 and unwaged £3 per visit.

We use mainly Ilford chemistry including Ilfotec LC29 to process films.
Durst B30 and Fujimoto have a sets of Multi-grade filters and other enlargers use dial in filters.
