I've
been trying to take pictures that show something
distinctive about a place. The four are all recent
pictures of Nottingham. |

|
The
window is the view from Radford Boulevard Works,
one of the (or perhaps the?) last Nottingham
textiles factories, when it last year stopped
operating and was being turned into student flats.
|
The
graffiti is on the wall of a disused petrol station. |
|
|
The
sold sign is in the former Raleigh factory car
park, production having relocated to the Far
East. |
The
man and child are by the fish tank in Victoria
shopping centre |
What
do I get from the Media Workshop? I can continue
with traditional black and white photography
so I don't have to buy a lot of new, expensive,
digital equipment, and don't have to sell my
old stuff, in a friendly local environment. Which
is great.
