The Media Workshop's education work develops children's skills in visual literacy, enabling them to 'read' visual images and control visual meaning within their work, leading to an understanding of the visual world around them. Supporting children to express themselves effectively through a visual medium. Using photography as a tool for gathering information, improving powers of observation and skills interpretation. To give children appropriate opportunities to develop and apply an information technology capability to study of art.
