FREE COURSE to Southampton based groups
Like to know how to design and print eye catching display
panels?
MPMW has a large format
inkjet printer thanks to a Regional Arts Lottery Programme
(RALP) grant. This resource has been set to help voluntary
groups and individuals produce large format displays and
exhibitions.
The Workshop runns a number of FREE training sessions
targeted at voluntary sector groups City-wide. This training
will be basic and simple covering:
Basic design principals
Editing photographic images
Typography
IT
Participants need to bring 5 images to be scanned and
around 100 words of text about their group or project.
Then they will receive tuition in using Microsoft Publisher
on a PC, how to set up the large format printer, print
and laminate.
Community group members will be encouraged to come along
in pairs. The pair will then work together as a group.
Although this requirement is not essential.
Participants will take away 1 A1 (23" x33")
full colour laminated panels.
